Collective Worship is at the heart of who we are as a Catholic school, and prayer is the focus of every day. We have a structured prayer theme for each academic year based around the Church’s Liturgical Calendar, our House Saints and our school mission statement. Our prayer themes also highlight important dates for our community, including CAFOD Fast Day, Interfaith Week, Holocaust Memorial Day, and Christian Unity Week. Each of our weekly prayer themes are rooted in our school’s Gospel Values of kindness, hope, patience, justice and courage.
Our prayer themes form the base of our daily Collective Worship, and are rooted in scripture and the teachings of Christ. Pupils are involved in planning and leading worship; in our assemblies, school Masses, Chaplaincy prayer groups and form time Collective Worship.
